My ATT is not coming and I don't know what to do :(

I graduated August the 24th. Everyone in my class that signed up to receive their ATT by email got theirs yesterday except me and one other student. She finally got through to someone at the board of nursing who told her that the director of our program did not sign her application. I have called person vue and the board of nursing. Both places had AWFUL customer service. They acted like I was bothering them and said that I need to wait longer. When I asked the BON if they could at least tell me if my background check was complete the man's response was "I'm sure it is." What? You just told me you were looking at the screen and saw no problems. It seems to me a yes or no answer would be appropriate here.

Does anyone have any ideas why my application would be delayed when the others went through together? I really need to get this test behind me so I can work. I'm so frustrated.

Oh, forgot to mention I live in Tennessee.

I have no advice I'm just sorry for the wait. It took 3 weeks for me to get mine and I literally took my nclex 2 days after receiving ATT. Just continue to contact the BON or even go up there in person. Go to your school and make sure they signed and sent all the paperwork. Must stay on top of this. Seems like everyone is just giving you the run around and its not fair.

..recently had a friend who ended up transfering from TN to MS due to lack of communication and getting anywhere with her information...you should however be able to check the BON website to see the status of your application....Good luck and have patience...I am trying myself to get a job and to remember patience...and yes it is hard...Good luck with your boards...your att will come when lease expected

I graduated Aug 25th and received my ATT today @10am. the BON told me it may take awhile in Ohio bc of the LPN licenses renewal process, which takes "priority". I would say to just keep calling and demand answers. My papers were in but were not processed, so when I called the BON today the lady from the board sent my information to pearsonvue while on the phone with me, and 15mins laters pearsonvue sent my ATT through email.

What state are you in? I had a lot of trouble calling the BON in WA state but did some homework and hunted down some numbers. Try just calling the general number and asking for who handles the ATT. If you always get a voicemail then ask for someone else to write her a note. Another strategy I heard from others is to call the minute the office opens. That worked for a lot of people.

Sometimes when they arrive is determined by dumb luck. My whole class applied for our ATTs at the same time: it took anywhere from 1 to 8 weeks after graduation for ATTs to arrive.

Someone has to get theirs last, and it looks like it's you. I'm sorry--I know it's frustrating...I'd keep following up on it though.

Also, be sure to check your spam/junk mail folder to make sure that the message with your ATT was not routed in there by mistake.

CHECK YOUR SPAM FOLDER!!! When I graduated from LPN school, it went to my spam folder and I missed it.

Well, for starters how many applications are received in the mail at your state's BON in one day? I believe it would be a bunch. How many applications were the case workers processing prior to your and the classmates' arrived? Many.

The case workers end their day at 1600, and I don't blame them for not staying just to make sure your application was processed with your classmates. Do you? As you can see, there are a number of factors, and it isn't that the staff is even remotely incompetent or being insensitive to you. How many individual applicants telephone the BON staff with their "not very well thought out" concerns and questions? Such as, "Where is my application, and why don't you have it done yet?- Gees!" I would hope it would be only a few, but I seem to have high expectations for anyone who is aspiring to be a nurse! You are a professional, so act like it.

For your information I was able to find out this afternoon that there was a problem with my application. I printed in one spot instead of signed. I knew I made this mistake when I filled out my application but was told my the director of my program that it would be fine. She was wrong.

All I wanted from the board was to know what was wrong. I knew something wasn't right. I just wanted to know what it was and what I would need to do to fix it. I don't think that was too much to ask. Instead I got the run around and flat out lied to by a couple of people probably because they didn't want to fool with explaining this to me. I understand these people are busy. It is their job to answer my questions. If they don't like it they should get a new one.

I don't know what your problem is or why you felt the need to go off on me but I really don't appreciate it:uhoh3:
