  1. Did you ever go to Tuba City? I am possibly thinking about doing an assignment out there, and I have no idea what to expect.
  2. Thank you, I know what I have to do. I have spoken with the DON, however my concerns have fallen on deaf ears. I am writing my resignation (again) Monday.
  3. I did allow myself to be pulled back into the department, with the understanding that certain needs were to be met. I should have went with my first mind and left as initially planned, I regret allowing myself to be weak.
  4. Sorry for the confusion, I put a two weeks notice in at my current employer, and then retracted the notice. I continued working at the same job for an additional 3 months, but now I want to send in my two weeks notice again for the same job.
  5. I search the forums and could not find any topics on this subject matter. Has anyone ever put a two weeks notice in twice within months apart of each other? I thought I was making the best choice for me by staying at my job, but it turns out I am still not fulfilling my goals and dreams of the type of nursing I once had before. I am almost afraid to put in my letter or resignation again, I am not sure what I should? I am contemplating speaking to my DON, and verbalizing my concerns and issues. Has anyone ever done this before?

Please say you're going to Gallup, NM?
  9. I am a former employee of UH RBC, in general I have never seen travel nurse there. However the nurses, docs and residence are all very welcoming and greatful to have help. The rotating shifts, and stressful enviroment is not ideal for most nurses, so Rainbow 4 finds themselves running through nurses. I would float to stepdown often, because they are always short nurses. I never had a problem, the nurses are there to help whenever needed. Hope this gives you some insight.
  10. When you travel housing depends on the company. Most supply housing furnished, unless you opt to take the housing stipend. I've even seen some come with everything even the kitchenware and linen. I've never been to Cali but I have travel nurse friends that did, working with an AMN company. you'll find tons of travelers there once you go, then you can link-up and possibly travel together. Good luck to you!

I looked at two apartment complex's that offer corporate housing. Casamera Apartments and I can't remember the other complex name. Casamera offers a few amenities, I think I could survive in a hotel without a kitchen for three month though.

I applied for Women's health, I haven't received a call from anyone yet.

I was just submitted for a job there, I've been trying to find travelers who have gone there, no luck. The recruiter I am in the works with did tell me it was one of the bigger cities in that specific area. I have had little luck on finding my own housing there. Hopefully someone will have better insight on this area, and even IHS.

Thank you for responding. I looked and spoke to many differnet agencies, its just I am limited to a select few, because I am currently an Outpatient nurse. It seems many agencies primarily work with inpatient nurses. I've tried going back to inpatient peds in my hometown, but not many jobs were posted.
