Is it possible to obtain BSN with a revoked LPN license?

I'm just curious..a woman at my school is trying to enter the LPN to BSN program, but she told me her LPN license has been revoked. Is it possible to obtain another license if one has been revoked:confused:

I don't think that will work... you usually have to have an active LPN license to be admitted to most bridge programs

Even if she gets through the BSN program, when she applies for her RN license, they will ask on the application if she has ever had her license revoked. If she says no, and they find out otherwise, she will have her RN license revoked immediately. There are controls in place to prevent people from doing that.

if you find a way to do so then you would have just identified a major flaw in the system.

I don't see how she could enter the program based on a license that is not valid. I've been looking at programs for LPN to BSN and they require the person to submit a copy of their active license. I don't think she can do it.

It would also depend on the reason for revocation. Did she not pay her renewal fee? Did she leave practice or leave the state? Frankly the BON is the only place SHE should be asking this. We ca't possibly answer.
