When I had to quit nursing Dec 01, I was making $25/hr as an MDS coordinator, et.al. in LTC in MS. Now disabled and will not be able to nurse anymore. I was ADN nurse.:scrying:

I wanted to tell my boss that I wouldn't spend my raise all in one place!! :( And to kiss my azz!! :devil:

holidays and weekends off are overrated...

m-f equals 260 days spent working/year and running errands on weekends along with everone else on the planet doing the same, fighting for parking, traffic jams on sundays, etc. (except me :) )

3 days/week equals 156 days spent working per year, and a s***load of time to run errands whenever I want :roll :cool: :D :chuckle

You know I live in CA and the pay differences among counties amazes me. My mom just got her RN license and is working at a county hospital in L.A. starting at $45 hr, whereas a friend of mine is in a different county perdiem at a county hospital, has been an RN for about 1 yr and is amking $25. Go figure:confused:
