How long did you breastfeed your children?
I will start...I breastfed my son until just after his 3rd birthday.:)

I was breastfed until age 2 1/2, but that was because we were living abroad and it was either breastmilk or the drinking water for me.

I breast fed my twins for 12 months. Thought walking around with your shirt unbuttoned was natural byt he time I was finished!!!

i breastfed my oldest till she was 1 1/2 and now with my second she is going on 2 years, any suggestions on how to stop she is a stubborn one!!!!
I can't help you, I went 3 1/2 years with my last child and he is now 4 1/2.
I miss it though.

Tell her "they are broken"....it worked for my son who was 2 1/2. He fussed one evening (he always needed it to fall asleep) and that was it, he was weaned. Good luck!

My 1st nursed until ~ 16 mos when I became pregnant with my 2nd child.
My 2nd child is 17 mos and is still nursing right before his nap and at bedtime. I'll miss it when he decides to wean.

I weaned my first at 8 months due to health problems, but the second till a year and 3 months. If it wasn´t for the stress of moving into a new place and other factors, I would´ve kept going. The 2nd is less sickly.

ds is 29 months and still nurses during meltdown time, naptime and bedtime. sometimes when we wake up too. still cosleeping as well.
I stopped nursing my 4 1/2 y.o. one year ago . . .I miss it. Especially during meltdowns . . . co-sleeping here too.
