My DH thinks I will have a hard time with anatomy and physiology. He's kind of holding back on me going to school right now. A girl I know took the test a few times before she actually passed it, how hard is it??

i recently had the 2nd baby debate, my fiance dosent want a huge age gap inbetween our children and feels that in two years when im done with school my son will be 5 and thats too much....we came to an agreement that we would stART TRying in my last semester...i already got a job neways!

good luck

My children are 5 years apart and I thought it was the perfect.

Besides, who cares? I know a couple who had a son that they adored, gave him all their time, attention and money. When he went off to college they missed parenting so much they had another baby.

There are pros and cons to any space between children. It all works out well in the end no matter how far apart they are.

Besides, what matters is what works best for YOU.

And to the OP, the thing that disturbs me most is your husband working to hard at discouraging you. I have several classmates whose husbands have tried really hard to discourage them because they're afraid that once they (the wives) have their own money, they won't need them anymore, or that they'll leave them for a doctor.

A person can leave you for someone else anytime. If you need to have that much control over someone so they won't leave you, there are bigger problems going on in the relationship. That's their own junk that they need to figure out.

Go for it, and best of luck.

I loved a & p. I thought it was just fascinating. esp Physiology, But then I am a science freak. I also liked chemistry. It is a hard course but really interesting .

i breezed through A and P with an A all the way...you can too! study every day, go over and go over and over the material. repetition reinforces memory.

It isn't how "smart" you are, it's how well you know how to study. I'm not exceptionally bright, I don't even feel like I would be called average, and I did fine.

nursing school was hard. long hours of studying and preparing. but it was one of the best times of my life. i met people that i have kept in contact with even though it has been almost 2 years since graduation, and the experiences i have had always bring a smile to my face when i look back on it.

A & P were the hardest classes I took, until I got to the 5th quarter of the nursing program. Its all about attitude.

Good luck, and I would encourage you to have your support is firmly in place before making the jump. You really need to immerse yourself once you get started.

You need to address the reason why he is not being supportive of you going to school. And in the end, even if he out and out refuses to be supportive, you need to focus on yourseld and do what YOU want with your education. Ok sorry had to speak my mind. ;)

A&P is not hard, but it is very time consuming and a lot of material and memorization. Do not fall behind or you will not catch up (unless you are a rare "super student"). It is a very interesting class and you can learn to amaze your family at Thanksgiving by naming all the bones in the turkey haha! Do not go into the class intimidated. Instead, go in with a positive attidude that you will do great and suceed and then study, study, study!

Nursing school is hard! The volume of info learned in 4 semesters is incredilbe. But if you focus and think positive it is doable.
