Hate it is an understatement for me. I get so depressed about. If I was in politics I would petition to stop the time change. I think Arizona is the only place that doesn't do this. I heard the reason it was changed in the first place was to get more people to buy more, because after dark so early in the day what else is there to do. Anyone else feel like this? They are messin' with a whole lot of ppl's chemistry doing this (Might have SAD, but that is besides the point).:angryfire I need my sunshine!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I actually hate the change in the Spring... I think this is my favorite day of the year because I'm "gifted" with an extra hour ; )

I do love it in the fall when we "get" an extra hour. Sometimes it doesn't really make a difference in my day, but today, it seems to be significant for some reason. I keep looking at the clock, unable to believe how early it is and that I have gotten so much done already today.

The only reason I sometimes don't like the time change is b/c I have to work an extra hour in fall and then "lose" an hour and feel behind in the spring, but since it's only twice a year I can deal with it.

It is always strange the first week or so in the fall though with it being dark at like 6 in the evening... makes it feel colder than it actually is!

I don't like the time change, the kids are at the bus stop in the dark in the morning and get off the bus in the dark. Originally I believe the time change had to do with farming but HELLO, we have electricity now! Let's compromise, turn it back 30 minutes and leave the rest alone.

:yeahthat:

An extra hour? Man, time is so precious I don't know if you can gripe about that...

It all has to do with saving energy. It was first suggested by Benjamin Franklin in 1784. The current aim is to reduce your use of electricity...

You are returning to normal time in fall... Its during the spring/summer months that you are going onto daylight saving time.

mee tooooo ! I HATE the time change in the spring because it messes with my body clock- I get TERRIBLE insomnia over the spring/summer months. I think they should just leave it on standard time ALL the time

I always heard it had something to do with the farmers...

I hated it back in the day when I worked nights, because it always seemed that I worked on the night that he we gained an hour, but not when we lost one... BTW, did you know that next year, this night is going to be in November?

See I don't know, I like the Spring time change. I know we loose an extra hour, but I love it when it starts getting darker really late! I will admit though, I did like the extra hour of sleep I got last night! I feel for all of you people who had to work an extra hour though :o
