Has anyone here done the HRSA scholarship? Was it worth it? Where did you get assigned?

I requested an application. Looking at previous years' choices, it looks like there's a variety of hospitals to chose from. I don't think I'll get the scholarship, however, since for some ungodly reason my Expected Family Contribution is $10,000 for my first year of school. Like I have that much cash sitting around. They say first choice goes to students with an EFC of $0.
Good Luck!

i just received my application...i can't decide if i should apply - although my EFC is about 2500.00 so it probably doesn't matter
anybody have any idea how to determine if a hospital is a "disproportionate share hospital"?
Also, what do y'all think about going straight from school to LTC??? (that's an "acceptable" site under the program)

I called and was told that they expect about 30,000 applicants for the scholarships which total less than 100. My EDC is about 4k, so I don't think i am going to apply.
