Your post was very generic, so what specifically were you issues with the For-Profit School you attended?
There are thousands of threads on this site alone, which warns potential students about the dangers of a lot of these For-Profit Nursing Programs, yet you chose to enroll in one of them. Why? There are daily post on here where a potential student will ask for advice on one or more of these For-Profit Schools, yet barked at the feedback given and enroll in one of them anyway. Good luck with that lawsuit of yours!
Maybe one day you can come back and identify the school and highlight the problems you had with that particular school.
Somewhat harsh but the truth is that in a for profit situation the term "for profit" is there for a reason. I personally would never have attended a for profit school, and would stick with either a Community College or State College as they are in the business of education, not making a profit. I am sorry to hear that you got taken in... caveat emptor is the best answer in these situations.
I appreciate everyone's input, but some of you fail to realize it is not easy to get into some of these public school's nursing programs. They are very competitive or have long wait lists. Of course I did my research and who wouldn't want to pay less for their degree, but at the time, the school was rather new and had some what of a decent passage rate.
I'm not asking for anyone's sympathy neither any legal advise. What I am asking is has anyone ever been successful with a lawsuit?

Just wondering.......has there been any successful lawsuits against any nursing schools in the south florida region, especially for - profit colleges. I am currently looking for a lawyer to handle my case against one and wanted some insight. I know that there are so many students being burned by these institutions who lie about accreditation, credits being transferred, illegal sales tactics in their admissions dept, subpar education and clinicals, or leaving students with these huge loans and no degree (they withdraw students right at the very end of the program in order to falsify their records with the florida BON). There must be some type of recourse. Right?
