Nursing school lawsuits

Just wondering.......has there been any successful lawsuits against any nursing schools in the south florida region, especially for - profit colleges. I am currently looking for a lawyer to handle my case against one and wanted some insight. I know that there are so many students being burned by these institutions who lie about accreditation, credits being transferred, illegal sales tactics in their admissions dept, subpar education and clinicals, or leaving students with these huge loans and no degree (they withdraw students right at the very end of the program in order to falsify their records with the florida BON). There must be some type of recourse. Right?

There was a stupendous lawsuit or federal investigation against a major "store front" operation school chain in the news recently. As a result the schools are in the process of closing. Perhaps it was a class action lawsuit. A recent thread here talked about it. An internet search would bring up the specifics. The fact that the business is closing its branches says a lot to the general public.
