That's awesome! I volunteered at a hospital and at my school so I completed 150 hours which allowed me to mention it on my application. I know how you feel I really want to know already too. Hopefully we find out soon!

Quick question...is the 150 hours needed have to be combined, or just with one place? Because I have a lot of volunteer hours at the hospital, but I am not sure if it is over 150, but combined with other volunteering over the years it is over. Thanks!!!!

It can be combined just as long as you provided documentation for it. :)!!!!!

Congrats! At least you got accepted somewhere when I saw my rejection letter to FSU I panicked. It just makes me more anxious not knowing where I will end up. I'm undecided about which school I want to go its between UF and FIU, but I got the merit scholarship for FIU so I feel I'm leaning towards there more. My cumulative gpa is a 3.77 and my science is a 3.88, but with the grades this semester my gpa will hopefully be a little higher. How about you?
Oh and don't worry my video is cheesy too I didn't really have a good program to make it so I did the best I could with my web cam. Lol I was worried about the HESI, but the HESI was easier than the video in my opinion.

Nice GPA! Unfortunately mine is only a 3.54 and this was after spring grades posted. :crying2: Everyone has really high GPA's here . :coollook: I am still being positive and hoping I still have a chance. FIU has a really great program. I know someone in the program and they absolutely love it.

I also applied for FIU and have a few friends in the program now and they love it. They said its pretty intense but manageable. Spring grades have been posted which is what Fiu was waiting for in order to make decisions so we will definitely be hearing from them sooon!

I just dropped off my transcripts today with proof that I also sent them to the University. I asked when we will find out they said end of May possibly first week of June latest. (Cross fingers) So exciting!! Now it's just a matter of waiting:cat:

Lol I don't think so check your FIU email the ones that needed to drop off transcripts got an email. I'm transferring from a different institution so they did need my transcripts.

A few more weeks to go!!

No, you don't need to drop anything off if you're already an FIU student :))

What do you mean last day? Since when is there a last day ? I was planning on turning in them on Monday, I ordered them an I received them by mail today.

Check your FIU email the college of nursing academic adviser sent an email about the deadline for sending transcripts being May 10, 2013 by 5 pm. Get in contact with them ASAP.

Below is just a little part of the email that was sent to us:

"Recap: -Grades should post at the school you are attending either the first or second week of May.

-Send FIU an electronic transcript (not the College of Nursing).

-Email or drop off an unofficial transcript (pdf version if you are emailing it) including proof that you sent over an official copy to FIU

-DUE DATE MAY 10TH 2013 BY 5PM.

If you run into any problems please make sure that I am aware of your situation."

Well I don't have an fiu email. So its not my fault. I previously tried to set one up back in march and when I called FIU they told me I needed to be accepted as an FIU student to have an email . I asked a friend that attends FIU and she told me FIU was supposed to send me an email with the username and what not for the email. I checked my email , spam inbox everything and never saw one. I tried talking to the FIU Nursing Adviser ****** , when I called I was notified **** was not speaking to any students until the admission process was over. Fastword to the future I called the College of Nursing on Tuesday the 7th asking where did I have to send the final transcript they told me FIU Admissions needed a copy and the College of Nursing needed a copy as well. I already sent an electronic copy to FIU. They never said anything about about a due date.
