FCCJ SPRING 2010

U.S.A. Florida

Published

I know it is a little early, but anyone plan on applying for FCCJ's spring 2010 program?? If I can get my Nat points up and if I do well in Micro this summer , I will be ready to apply!!!:yeah:Finally!!

Actually, the diversity program took 24 seats away from the 144 that the spring term usually admits. Our numbers in orientation were picked from 120 pieces of paper. SO, wherever you got the information about the additional seats is wrong. That is why the cut off has been so high for the last two semesters.

I got that info from the program director they have to transition more seats for that program and the ones that didnt get in the regular way which were only few got a seat when someone that got in the regular way declined their seat!!!!!!

New topic,

what type of shoes did everyone get or any suggestions?!?

Its been so high because more applicants are applying with 200+ points the diversity scholarship wasn't in existence for Fall 09. Spring is the first term! Those 24 seats that wouls of been for nights and weekends went to the diversity program

Merrell Shoes are the best Janobia! You can find them on Zappos for 95$. I am hoping Santa brings me mine! Has everyone got their skills kit? I assue I am the only slacker:)

$95 wowzers!!! But if they are comfortable I might have to shell out the $$$! Just to let you know, they do have several skills kits in whenever you decide to get one!!! :) you work at the Mayo Clinic right?! My daughter's grandmother works there! :)

Because you won't use them as often as a regular nurse and because you will probably buy new shoes for pinning, I would get something cheap, no more than $50. You can get NurseMates for that much and they are extremely comfortable. Or some Nike's or New Balance.

Where can you find nursemates at?! Do they sell them in stores or do you have to order them online?

Thanks Miss Whitney! Yea I like the idea of having those be a graduation present!

What department is she in? I work in research. Also, did you and Catherine meet up yesterday? How did it go? I have received 6 of my 13 from Amazon.com. Still neither my med tern or dosage calc book has come in yet!

YIKES! I hope they come soon!

You can order them from allheart.com or Uniform Outlet or Lifeline has them. I am not sure what side of town you are on, but I know there is one off of Blanding and there is another Uniform Outlet in St. Augustine, right as you get off the exit for the outlet malls.

I am not really sure what department she works in, I know she does EKG's and EEG's. Yes me and Catherine did meet up yesterday, I had focused on the medical terms and she had focused on the dosage calculations so we shared our knowledge on the subjects, we were there for like an hour! Sorry you couldn't make it! Wow the two books you need the most aren't in yet?!?! I hope they come in very soon!!!!! The medical terminology book comes with flashcards and that's very helpful! :)
