Hello! Is anyone applying for Edison(Lee campus) for fall of next year? I plan on applying in the spring for the evening program. I'm also in the process of finishing my last pre reqs and studying for the Hesi. I know the evening program is about 5 semesters but does anyone know if its shorter when all pre reqs are completed? So far I've gotten all A's in them. Thanks in advance

Hey does anyone know what type of hours the part time evening program offers? I know clinicals are on weekends, just curious how late evening classes run? Working full time and having school on evening/weekends isn't going to leave much time for me to be a single mom :-(.

I've heard that the evening program classes are Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5-9:30p and the clinicals are on Saturdays usually 6a-6p. Since the revamped the program I'm not sure if it's still the same.

Oh thats not too bad... great, thanks for the response!! I'm super excited to get this over with. I was accepted into the Summer 13 program but had to withdraw for personal reasons... I'm not too worried about getting accepted into the Fall 14 program, just anxious to get started!!

You're welcome! That's good you're not nervous. Everyone else I've talked to is terrified lol. Good luck

Okay just to be nosy what's everyone's points? I didn't do as well as I would have like in A&P ll so I'm at 84 points(pending on how well I do on Hesi retakes).

I havent taken AP 2 yet and i will be doing that class at edison. anyone want to tell me about their experience?

I heard a few people from other schools mention dissecting a cat! Has anyone ever done that?

Thats a really good number im sure you'll get in quickly! I am missing 1 class i only have about 75 points :\

I would like to be part time but i read the previous post classes end pretty late.

I was accepted into the day program last summer, with 91 points... which is what I will be reappplying with this fall (part time).

Also to answer the question about APII, We dissected a sheeps heart. No cats LOL... it was pretty fun and interesting actually.

Why did you decide to get into the part time program?

Lol good to know I feel nervous I never dissected anything before.

I withdrew from last year's day program because I had to leave the state for family reasons. I'm back now, and working full time which is why I'm switching to part time program.

I had Dr Hooks for API - I thought he was a great prof and wanted him for APII but that didn't work out, I had Rattenberg for APII. I thought Rattenberg's class was less detail oriented, however he's a bit of a space cadet and there were alot of complaints about him. Super nice guy, but you really have to be able to teach yourself and if you think you got an answer right on an exam and challenge him, he will likely give you the points for it bc he isn't very clear during lecture at times.

@ [COLOR=#003366]sarahamelia is the 75 points with the Hesi included?

I had El Nemr for A&P ll and we didn't dissect anything. I wouldn't recommend him. I only did disections in A&P l at another school

Sadly yes it includes my hesi scores I'm hoping after I do AP 2 I would have between 80-85 points
