Hello! Is anyone applying for Edison(Lee campus) for fall of next year? I plan on applying in the spring for the evening program. I'm also in the process of finishing my last pre reqs and studying for the Hesi. I know the evening program is about 5 semesters but does anyone know if its shorter when all pre reqs are completed? So far I've gotten all A's in them. Thanks in advance

That's wonderful news! Congats amber1014! My sister in law is a professor at FGCU but in the history department. When do you start?

Thanks. Fall 2014. :)

Does anyone know if Edison's nursing program has health insurance for the students? I saw some universities have it

Honestly I'm not sure I have it through my employer. Maybe someone else can chime in. I do remember reading something about insurance but that might have to deal with while at clinicals.

I know you have to have a medical while you are in the program.

I'm applying to the Transitions program at Edison for the Fall semester. Does anyone know how many they accept for that program? I live in north Florida so I won't be able to make it to an informations session until May 5.

Oh okay. Good luck! From what I hear the transitions isn't nearly as competitive

Thanks I hope so. I"m mostly worried about having to take that mobility exam...

You should be fine. There's a study guide on the website for the mobility but I'm not sure how helpful it is. I'll post the link it's basically an outline of what the exam goes over:

Hey does anyone know what type of hours the part time evening program offers? I know clinicals are on weekends, just curious how late evening classes run? Working full time and having school on evening/weekends isn't going to leave much time for me to be a single mom :-(.
