Hello! Is anyone applying for Edison(Lee campus) for fall of next year? I plan on applying in the spring for the evening program. I'm also in the process of finishing my last pre reqs and studying for the Hesi. I know the evening program is about 5 semesters but does anyone know if its shorter when all pre reqs are completed? So far I've gotten all A's in them. Thanks in advance

Yea I'm not sure. I do know that the grading for the nursing program is different and you have to get at least a C or higher or else you fail.

Everything is so stressful!! I really want to go to the lee campus I'm so nervous :/

I know what you mean! I just want to get in already lol.

oh regarding your other thread according to my friend that's in the day program now she goes to class two days a week and clinicals one day usually from 8am-2:30 or 3

How many points do you have currently?

im actually thinking that meeting 85 points isn't good enough, I don't know anyone in the program so I have no details on how the selection process is. I'm not sure if I should just get about 85 points or do I need to aim higher I don't want to reapply or get accepted to another campus.

Those times you just listed are those the times for the class or clinicals, also is that how the day program will be or is her day program the older one I'm not sure if the day program times are different from last year compared to this year.

Application in, now the wait!

I just retook the Hesi today and I scored 90.6 so I got the full 40 points!!! I'm applying with 86 total points. I'm hoping that's enough for nights. I'm really nervous though. The highest I know that's applying is 92 and that's one of my friends who's applying for days. From overhearing people's conversations today at the testing center I hear that they're applying with anywhere from 78-89 points. Fingers crossed.

They have an FAQ on the Edison site with a lot of info about hours. Nights is 2 nights a week 5p-10p with clinicals on Friday or Saturday. Days it looks like classes Monday-Thursday and clinicals on Fridays.

Wow! thats great news. What did you use to study. I really hope you get in at least you made it past the 85 mark your in the high 80s!! I plan to retake the hesi i feel so nervous if I dont get enough points because I have no where to live considering im young (no credit or income). I hope you get in I cant wait to hear how your experience will be!

Do you think the college will take into consideration the students living arrangements? Like if someone has to stay on campus but got accepted into the collier or charlotte campus, thats a far drive. :\

Morning! PM me your email so I can email you a study guide for the a&p portion of the test. Most of the questions were on there and some Biology questions also. The math, grammar, and vocab were basically the same as the study guide. For the math portion I suggest studying ratios and proportions and conversions. I had tons of those on there.

I don't think that they make any arrangements. Whatever campus you get into is where you stay for the remainder of the program. So far the Lee campus is the only one with on site housing

Wow after reading a few threads on here I'm not going to lie I'm a bit discouraged. Has anyone gotten into the night program with 80 or less points? I've only taken 7 of the 9 classes. I'm missing A&P 2 and Micro and I only scored an 88 on the Hesi (2nd attempt was today). Should I even waste my time applying or should I wait until the next cycle?

i just took my hesi exam this morning to apply to the nursing program at Edison state college in Fl. I didn't study because I previously took the TEAS exam in FEB, and i still felt well prepared( and I heard it was easier than the TEAS). I ended up with a final score of 86. I have a 3.9 gpa and have all my prereqs done. In conclusion I have a total of 84 points (based on their points system)

Does anyone have any experience or previously has gotten into Edison with a grade/points close to mine?! I can't wait four weeks to find out the final result I'm so impatient!

I honestly don't know of anyone with less than 85 get into lee campus. I believe 85-90 range is good but I talked to the director there is actually no cut off number it depends how smart ppl are that semester. But with 80 points you will definately get accepted but maybe not lee campus. I have the same struggle it is hard to get all As ya know but you will accepted into the program it's better than not getting accepted at all.
