Hello, this is a thread for any current nursing students at Broward college or those who have recently been accepted. I'm a bit confused on Broward's admission criteria. What classes exactly do they use to calculate the gpa?

Take Dr. Conrad! I took her for all my anatomies and Micro this past summer. She's amazing! Just my $0.02.

Lecture? Tough. But she is a vessel of knowledge and I still learn from her even if I'm not her current student. Lab? Only quizzes (10 questions) and a midterm and final. Noone passes midterm. Everyone passes final.

Hi everyone

Reading August's thread gets me excited for the program. They start next week and I plan to continue to read their thread throughout the Fall. Now its just a waiting game for us....Hopefully they start looking at our Applications soon! Micro in the fall will be my final class before the program starts! =)

I have some questions on the HESI and thought maybe those from BCC could give me a few pointers and tips on what to use as a review tool. I suck horribly at Math.... If anyone can just let me know what to expect...I would be most grateful as I'm literally having anxiety attacks just thinking about it.

I start Micro next monday with Kulangara for lecture and Keshishian for Lab. Did you hear news from Nova?

taking my hesi at broward tomorrow morning guys! been studying the hesi review from our bookstore and trying to brush up on my math. very worried about conversions. ill post on here after to let those who are curious know how it went.

i start khan's micro and lab in north campus on the 25th also... nothing from nova yet! hope everyone is doing ok.

Don't worry about HESI, ull do fine. Remember your grams and mg for sure. i had maybe 3 of those 2 conversions alone. One about ML and Liter. I have friends taking Khan...Hope we pass this class with a good grade. But as fas as tomorrows test, just relax and ull do fine. As far as the A&P portion, random questions, one def on Hypothalumus. GOOD LUCK!
