This is a good thread ... because I graduated in Nov. My director probably sent all of our paperwork Dec 7-10th...well unfortunately because of the holidays boards are backed up and they take paperwork on an each day basis and right now they are working on Nov 27th paperwork. So I still have around 2 weeks until I her anything. Alpha did you figure out your paperwork? Sounds liek you finished around the same time as me... have you received your eligibility letter from Boards? I didnt even know the proces whatsoever! I had to read lots of books and so forth to figure out the process since the school never informed us... they just wanted our money and then pushed us out the door....

I graduated Dec 18th. No, I have not received my eligibility yet. I'm not sure when my director sent our paperwork but I was told by my classmate that they have been sent. The 75 dollar check that I sent with my application for the fee has not yet been cashed so I am assuming that the BON has not reviewed my paperwork. I'm also in Northern California so maybe that's part of the delay too as I have heard that California is sloooow..

Did you say you're also waiting for your Eligibility letter???

right, Im still waiting on my eligibility letter. I found the boards cashed my check Dec 17th but still thats not really much of a good indicator as I had hoped it would.. but now according to boards.. just take today Jan 7th (boards are on Nov 27th paperwork) than Jan 8th Nov. 28th so on and so on until you come to about where you think all your paperwork was submitted. By the sounds of it... yours is taking longer than mine maybe since your check still isnt cashed... I think smaller states have huge advantage over bigger states... population sets us back in more ways than one!! good luck ...

I graduated December 16th and still waiting. My university closed for the holidays and are now just getting around to sumbiting graduation info to the state board... i have a feeling this will take a while :angryfire

our school just likes to take it slow, and took forever mailing things off.. anyways, my question was to anyone that has yahoo email, did it come to your main email or in your bulk/junk box? and also what is the name/subject line i should be looking for? I get SO many emails most of them junk that I just delete i am so scared i am going to overlook it, but when I get around 200 reg emails daily and then 500 or so junk ones, it gets really boring READING all the headlines!! Thanks!!

Good morning everyone!!

I have the same question about receiving notice for the test. I get alot of junk also.....

Also I graduated Dec 14, I then sent in my 75.00, and then the week of christmas I filled out a form (a bubble sheet) with my 200.00 and sent it for the nclex.....so I am waiting..:icon_roll I keep checking my email.

A guy that I was in class with took his test on Tues. I do know he sent his money in right after graduation. So I am thinking I wont be to far behind. I am from Ohio....so in the mean time..study...study...study.........

oh man, how discouraging! my last day of school was Nov. 15th, and I met w. the director for our exit papers Dec 4th. I believe our paperwork got to boards no later than Dec 10th. I was able to get ahold of the boards and what they do is take paperwork on each day basis and when I called on Monday they were on Nov 27th paperwork... so by my calculations I prob. wont hear anthing until mid to end Jan. My advice, just check up on things , not so much call boards all the time.. but I checked like on my check w my bank to see if it had been cashed, that was on Dec 17th... than a few weeks after call so you can register with Pearson Vue. What state are you in? The less populated states have less of a wait... good luck! Dont study too early... Im just now starting my study regimen today ... I figure from this point I have 3 weeks until I prob. get my eligibility letter and ATT then if I can find an open date it might be 4 weeks I figure 4 weeks is plenty of time...

We were told by our school DON, to send only money orders or certified checks...so I sent a MO for 75.00 to OH board of nursing, then 200.00 for the NCLEX(the Nclex paper work said not to send personal checks...) but I am from ohio so I dont know if all states are different??:icon_roll

Oh, yea then maybe your state is different. As far as NCLEX I paid online. Ohio would seem to me that it shouldnt be as long as wait... I think FL,CA,NY, and TX may have some of the longest waits, in my opinion. hope all goes smooth for you ...

Thanks!!! You too!! I found out another guy in my class passed the test on 1/3...he sent his money in early...anyway...I thought if he did it....I have to be able to pass...when it came to class work..I always had better grades then he did ....he always looked way to deep into the questions....anywaysss ....we all CAN DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!

Remember now NCLEX is completely different than the tests in Nursing school. I have been slowly looking over and starting my study regimen and it isnt as easy as some may think. theres a lot of eliminating by certain technique. I can keep you in the loop if I find any interesting books.. I have this one called Exam Cram that also has a cd rom that I started on and so far it has excellent info. I have also found Saunders of great interest.

Thanks a bunch!!!!
