Ok, so I took the NCLEX this am.. I had 75 questions.. I have to admit the majority of the questions i seemed to be unsure of... I went with my gut, especially with the priority questions.

I did a lot of questions in preparation.. took the Hurst review, did about 2000 Lippincott questions, 200 to 300 Saunders and read over several review books...

I walked out of the exam feeling as if I failed it... I am prepared to have to take it again. Any thoughts?

You are not the only one. Felt the same way after I took mine and I passed after 75 questions. You should try the Pearsonvue trick to ease your mind for the next 48. Good Luck!

I can sit here and tell you "don't worry", but I was in your shoes a week ago.... so I won't even say that, because I know how I felt!

I felt the same way when I walked out after 75 questions. I wanted to cry, and I am not big on crying, so for me to feel that way is HUGE. I think I had a good handle on maybe a handful of questions. I was so scared.

I did try to re-register to take the test again, and according to the "trick", if you can not re-register, you passed the test. Well, it would not let me register, and I did find out that I passed.

The wait is awful. What is worse is knowing that the computer KNOWS if you passed before you get the exit questions. Wouldn't it be nice if the computer could flash you a smile or something if you passed before it shut off?

One thing I tried to remember... the test is over. Worrying will not change your results. Treat yourself to something nice and before you know it, you will have your results. (I suggest reading some fiction for fun and a nice ice cream cone or sundae......yummmm).

I wish you all the best!

I just took my NCLEX-PN today. Minimum here is 85 questions, I had 86. When that screen turned grey I almost cried. All of the people from my school had 85 who took it today. We're all freaking out a bit, we all did either really well or really bad. I hope they have it posted early tomorrow. I can't even sleep.

Oh yes know how you feel don't worry. I took mine in May and I remember feeling like okay yeah I think I passed to oh my God I got those questions wrong!!!! To did I get any questions right???? And finally to "Grade: PASS". It will be fine in 48 hours.

Did you do the trick to help calm you?

I did do the trick and it has helped to calm me down.. The pop up appeared telling me that I had already registered and to refer to my member board. So according to 100s of people here that have already used the trick, its most likely that I passed.

I did the trick as well and it stated I have already registered and cannot register at this time. My fingers are crossed, I hope to get fast results today before the weekend.

Whatever you do don't go home after taking the test and start looking at those nclex books trying to figure out what you got right or wrong. I did that and drove myself insane. I found out today I passed. Good luck to you.

Can anyone tell me about The NCLEX Pn . I know that those Taking the RN are getting alot of Disease, Prioritizing, and Infection Control questions. but I have not heard anything about the PN. I know you can not talk about specific questions but any info will greatly appreciated.

I got alot of prioritize and infection control questions on the nclex pn test. I used abc (airway, breathing, circulation) for prioritize questions. For the infection control questions just make sure you know which disease is airborn, droplet, etc... And please study culture questions. You would think that would be of the least things for them to ask but they do...Good luck to you.

By the way what state are you in?
