Any trauma centers in Denver?

Specializes in ICU + Infection Prevention.

None. We have to fly patients to Los Angeles or New York if we can shoo the cows off of the dirt runway.

Hey, that's SUPER Smart *** to you.

So, do they have indoor plumbing in Tuscon? We just got it last year. It is so awesome because shoveling snow to get to the outhouse is hard work! I hear we are getting electric lighting next month... it'll be so much safer with the Oxygen lines compared to our kerosene lanterns.

I was going to say lurk moar but summitAP beat me to it.

There are five level one trauma centers here in CO.

I just moved here from NYC, and I worked at a Level one trauma center. The classifications are different out here. I believe that the hospitals trauma level is determined based on how many trauma's they treat per year.

I'm going to work at Littleton Adventist Hospital (level two) and the NM told me that they get all the types of trauma's that I took care of at the level one hospital back east.
