Congratulations! That must feel amazing to be officially accepted! I know they have listed that they will contact people for an interview 6 weeks after the deadline closes. Is this pretty close to when you were contacted? I am guessing sometime in May for the September start. Congrats again!

They contacted me a little bit before the 6 weeks but from what I understand, it just depends upon when the admissions committee gets through all of the applications. I had the interview almost 8 weeks post application date (31 Dec).

Keep us posted about how things are going! This whole process really makes it seem "real." I wonder how many applications they are receiving now. I know it has gone up because of their NLNAC accreditation. Good thing I have algebra and stats to keep me busy! Again, congratulations!

Thanks so much! I'm so excited/completely freaking out about this whole process. Nervous about the interview (even though I still haven't sent off my application...) and the hesi, even though from everything I've read I shouldn't be.. Lol and then finally how in the world I'm going to pay for this. Oh man.. Lol good luck everyone and keep us all updated! :]

I flew down to Colorado over the past few days and had my interview and entrance exam. I passed and signed enrollment paperwork yesterday afternoon. Now I'm very excited to start! Make sure you do those practice questions in the HESI book. I don't think I would have been nearly as successful if I hadn't studied. I can't give much more information besides that. Good luck!

Congratulations! That must feel amazing! I am now in the six-week waiting period of being notified. Good thing I have school work to keep me busy and also completing all the paperwork to start going to hospitals with my dog as a therapy dog (volunteering is good....with my dog makes it even better)!!!

Thank you! It's does feel amazing! I wish I could give you lots of insight but we sign a form saying we won't so that's probably why people are vague on this website (and my username is my real name) I was contacted at about 5 weeks and it goes by quickly! Good luck! I'm sure you'll be just fine.

Does anyone have tips for the vocabulary portion of the HESI test? I've heard from others that the study guide isn't a good tool for the test.

The test is multiple choice so you can use a process of elimination with some of the questions. The study guide prepared me plenty for the test,

So unbelievably bummed. Didnt get an interview or anything. So looks like no nursing school for me this year as this was the last school I was waiting for a response from.
