Hello! I have a few questions regarding a position I was offered. I was so excited and signed the acceptance offer without thinking of the questions I should have asked so maybe someone will have some insight? I completed my senior preceptorship at a hospital I applied to. In my application I made it clear that I graduate the 19th (this Friday woo!). I was offered the job and was told I begin the 6th. My job is "registered nurse internship". However I won't be able to even take my NCLEX until toward the end of July with these wait times. My question is basically do you think the hospital understands all this? Do they understand I won't be licensed until 4-6 weeks after I graduate? Is that what the internship part means with my job offer? I'm so excited to start my first job after nursing school! Just a little confused :)

Hello! I am a quarter 7 BSN student at DSN. (I graduate Friday, wahoo!) I bought all of my books through DSN. It is included in your tuition, so if you're using federal or military financial aid it will be included. I always resold the books I know I won't use again online through Chegg - you'll get most of your money back that way. If you have any questions, feel free to ask away!

The interview was much more relaxed than I anticipated. You won't do much talking and they just ask basic questions. They will mostly go over school expectations and how the program works. Nothing to stress about! You'll also get a tour around campus and get a chance to speak with a financial aid advisor.

I think you'll be okay to apply.

Hello everyone! I hope the interview and testing process went well. I just received my first quarter tentative schedule yesterday and looks like I'll be in Group A for the BSN July 1st start. How about anyone else?

You need it and all other requirements by 1 month before your start date. (That is what I was told anyway, but I did already have my BLS completed)

The interview is casual but I would still recommend you dress to impress. (nothing over the top, but still look nice) It just shows you're serious about their school. I wore black shoes, black slacks, and a red cardigan. Everyone wore jeans and regular street clothes for the test the following day and I'm only assuming they dressed nicer for the interview. And don't worry I was over thinking everything too! :)

The test is multiple choice so you can use a process of elimination with some of the questions. The study guide prepared me plenty for the test,
