I plan to work only on the weekends because I am going for the BSN in nursing. I am just wondering if that is possible.

yeah it is possible. You just have to find a facilty or home health that has clients that just need weekend help.

Lol. You're a male? I really need a male friend who is a nurse to know more. :)

Hello, some clients usually need care throughout the week and some on weekends also but often the agencies have a hard time getting workers to work weekends. Usually they require you work every other weekend to give each other a weekend off.. so I am sure that by working weekends your talent would be appreciated :)

Weekends only?

Of course. Why not?

I do.

Quite possible, because there are lots of people who don't want to work on weekends and you would be filling that staffing need.

100% possible. Several LTC facilities around my area run a 2-shift weekend rotation. 7p-7am or 7am-7pm. If you do the over nights you get 36 hours (fri, sat, sun), overnight diff, weekend diff, and bene's. I'm trying to get on doing that where I did my clinicals.

We have a few aides who work every weekend, and a couple who even work every other weekend only.
