Feb 19, 201115 yr I plan to work only on the weekends because I am going for the BSN in nursing. I am just wondering if that is possible.
Feb 19, 201115 yr yeah it is possible. You just have to find a facilty or home health that has clients that just need weekend help.

Feb 20, 201115 yr Hello, some clients usually need care throughout the week and some on weekends also but often the agencies have a hard time getting workers to work weekends. Usually they require you work every other weekend to give each other a weekend off.. so I am sure that by working weekends your talent would be appreciated :)
Feb 21, 201115 yr Experts Quite possible, because there are lots of people who don't want to work on weekends and you would be filling that staffing need.
Feb 21, 201115 yr 100% possible. Several LTC facilities around my area run a 2-shift weekend rotation. 7p-7am or 7am-7pm. If you do the over nights you get 36 hours (fri, sat, sun), overnight diff, weekend diff, and bene's. I'm trying to get on doing that where I did my clinicals.
Feb 21, 201115 yr We have a few aides who work every weekend, and a couple who even work every other weekend only.

I need a year of experience to work as a CNA. However, I am going to get my certified as soon as I graduate, but I have to wait anyways.
