Who teaches medical assistant classes? I know in Ca it's lvn, & Rn's? Is NC any different? Can a CMA teach a medical assistant class?
I've been all over the internet and could not find this out?
Also, can a licenced phlebotamist teach, phlebotomy classes?
Last question. Can a medical aide or cna, medical assistant teach cna 1 classes?
Isn't there somewhere I can find a site that answers all these questions?
Thank you

I know here in MI only a nurse can teach a CNA class. Not sure if they have to be RN or an LPN can teach it but I know they do have to have a nursing degree so I kind of think it would apply as well to the other areas you have mentioned in that you have to have a higher degree to teach. A CNA can not teach a CNA class so I think it would apply that an MA can not teach an MA class

I'm 99% positive it has to be a nurse.

New York here... MA's teach MA classes.
Most postings require you to have your certification and at least 5 years experience with preferably an associates degree (usually not specified in what).
Nurses teach CNA classes.

I'm not sure if this varies from state to state, but in Colorado, medical assistants teach MA classes. My instructors were medical assistants with years of experiences; no nurses.

Yes, in Michigan they can. I believe you need 5 years of experience.
