Anyone started to prepare for CRNE June 2012?

I feel like I failed. I found it very difficult even though I studied and the CRNE Practice questions were way easier than the actual exam--it sucks, but I am preparing myself for the worst :(

was it more technical or was it because the options were tricky? aww. this made me nervous. i'm taking mine in october.. :(

The exam was multiple puzzle, hard to say it was MCQ...they pretend to ask us smth,we pretened to give the answer...very dissapointing!

Let us just pray that the cut off at this time is way low low coz if it is high nahhhh! I saw 1 lady, she's already done over 2 hours plus.

Let's just pray that they will lower the cut off at this time.

I wish that all takers will say damn hard, so that the cut off is not tooooooo high.

It seemed like there was a lot of Peds and Community nursing. I could often get many questions down to two choices, but had to guess a lot. Because of all the guessing I feel that I failed. I am definately praying for a low cut off. Tricky definately!!

now i am nervous for october crne exam...

I agree with what you all say about the exam. It was totally different to any of the prep exams I have done to include those offered by CNA. It had you really thinking outside the box in some of them, very little psych as we know from books, but more related to everyday events with a psych angle.

I studied really hard and have done well on prep exams, but honestly I don't know about this one. It was really a concoction of ideas put into questions. When I left the exam if asked what was on the exam I would not and I still am not able to remember the questions. Lets hope they feel it was hard and that the pass mark reflects that.

Some of the guys at my exam centre also left at the 2 hour mark

Some leave the place by 2 hours, but that does it mean that they ace the exam?

the exam was so tricky. critical thinking test! whoowww, :uhoh3: here in Halifax, a girl left @ 1.5 hour, that was fast. hoping for positive result! In God we trust.

What at 1.5 she's done. How could it be?

second that

what is the difference between no CPR and do not resuscitate request? Any samaritan nurse out there to explain. Thanks in advance?

I just learned that no CPR and DNR are just the same.

"When a capable client doesn't want to have CPR performed the refusal must be documented by the physician. Some provincial legislation allows nurses to accept the refusal for CPR and document the refusal in the client's health record as Do Not Resuscitate (DNR)."

Cardiopulmunary Resuscitation, Mosby's Comprehensive Review for Nurses

Anyone else who can clarify this? :)
