@prttywendy --- very well said!!! thanks for all the tips!!! this is really helpful i'm writing the exam on october and i've been doing my readings already.. i just wish i have study buddies who will be really dedicated when it comes to review.. coz i think it's wiser and more effective if everyone has their share, passion and drive when it comes to studying for the exam. :)

Hi, kheemooy,Thank you. I just want to share my great learning experience with the future writers. I know it is a hard work for this exam. Here is some of the tips for the study group hunting. You may find as many people as you can in the first few group initial meetings(8-10 is an appropriate size). Ask each of the members their experiences and strengths.Eventually from second or third meeting, some of the members will drop out as they may come in for different purposes,or due to work schedule and time and distance etc. Those who are really committed to the group study will stay back at last. During the group work process we also need to monitor for those out of norm behaviors and set some ground rules initially. I tell you the group work need a lot of effort and time commitment. But the good thing is that you can share resources and give each other psychosocial support whenever you need. Another thing for the group forming, you may have different experienced nurses in your study group, whether they have previous experiences in writing the test and some locals and some oversea if you really want to enhance your learning experiences. The group dynamic will make a huge difference contributing to your study success. Make sure the group members have the same common goal of passing the CRNE exam together ! Good luck for your future exam!

To learn that I passed would be a great present, since my birthday is that week!

At my exam, they said 4 weeks, so I have been waiting for July 4th...

I don't know what to think about it, especially after reading how everyone found it harder than expected. I actually found it to be easier than the practice questions on average. Not as many "trick" questions I thought. I hope I am not being over confident about it though, it just seemed more straight forward than I expected. Crossing my fingers for us all!!

Hi , I used the primemed review online . It was two days course. One of my friend travelled to Toronto for the same classroom course. It was the same content.

I personally do not think it is useful. The questions were straight out of mosbys, lippincott study books. I paid for 3 months and I did not even use it for the length of time. There were also a bit of technical difficulties in the beginning.

Hi everyone, I am also anxiously awaiting my CRNE result, I can't seem to stop beating myself up for all the questions that I know I got wrong. I am wondering...does anyone know if everyone who wrote on June 6th was given the same test or was there different versions?

Any people from the maritimes that know thier fate from the last crne please stand up, if you recieve the results.

Hi faith-full and prttywendy,

Thanks for the reply.

Hi Faithful

I agree with your opinion of nurse2canada, it was a total waste of money, more NCLEX orientated and the grammer was awful. Did you sit the exam June 6th, how would you rate it? I found it very different to practice questions and It took me the full 4 hours.
