There isn't much new information about this school on these boards, so I am wondering if there are any current students of this school that can share their experiences, class schedule, difficulty, clinical sites, resources, etc...

And has anyone else applied for the Fall 11' class ?

havhope - This was my first time applying for a nursing program. I just finished my prereqs last fall. I applied to Cerritos, Goldenwest, and Pasadena. I'm still waiting for a response from those schools too. I've never heard of Citrus college.. where is that?

Pandacakes - I really hope that you get into a nursing program. You're well qualified for any spot at any school in my opinion. Best of luck to you! Hopefully Rio hondo made a mistake! =)

pandacakes - I think they should've picked you as well because of your experience! Hope you made it too. They told me to continue calling them in the next couple of weeks because they may have another round, which I'm still a little confused on.

wyu - It's at glendora. Pretty much any school that says YES to me, I'll gooo. lol. I really want to be a nurse in the future!

Havhop05- They told me to keep calling too in case someone declines their spot. Interesting, I wonder if they have an alternate list? Luckily, I got into PCC.

Did PCC email you about your admission into their program? I thought they didn't start notifying people until early May? Either way CONGRATS!! =)

Havhope - I really hope you get into Citrus!! I am getting really anxious! My TEAS test is on Friday at RHC.. :yeah:

Congrats to all of you who made into Rio Hondo Fall 2011.

I am a new member here and graduating from Rio Hondo this summer.

I was in the Fall 2009 group.

I can honestly say that this is a great school for your ADN degree, the faculty is professional and they really want to help their students in the process of learning.

Of course I can not speak for all the clinical and lecture instructors here, but all the instructors I had were GREAT!

---- is my favorite instructor. She teaches Neuro and Advance Med Surg, both Lecture and Clinical.

Some of the clinical sites are Kaiser Balwin Park, Kaiser Downey, Kaiser Sunset,

PIH, Acadia Methodist, Downey regional, Beverley Hospital, and others..

@meeshelz: me too, I got cleared today to enroll in class, and I realized we are going to have clinicals. do you know how is going to work this june, regarding clinicals?
