I'm glad to know that I can ask you guys questions before the term starts. I bought the textbook at the bookstore, and I also found out that the spring syllabus is no longer available. In fact, the syllabus for the summer won't be available until the week that class starts. Meeshelz, could you tell me what are the readings for the two weeks of class? I want to prepare too. Thank you futurenurse!!! I don't really know how it happened, but I think I was just really lucky. They called me a week ago and said that a space opened up and asked if I was still interested. I didn't even know that I was an alternate at the time because I thought they had already picked their final students. But ahh! I prayed really hard! haha. I just need to get all the health requirements done..tb tests, immunizations, physical etc. AND is it true?? I read in your Cerritos College thread that you got accepted!!!!! Congrats Dude!!!!! :yeah:I'm so happy that we both got into nursing programs . It was so stressful too! Now we can breathe! lol

Congrats to you guys!! I was accepted for fall 2011 too! I really thought it was over, but I got in! I am really excited and kinda nervous lol. It's awesome you guys were cleared to register. I am still working on getting the pre-admission requirements before the deadline. I have a couple of questions. Did you guys order the Medical/Surgical kit already? How did you know when you were finally cleared to register for classes? When is the last day of class in the summer? When does fall term begin? Sorry for all of these questions haha. Meeshelz - Can you tell me the title of the textbook for ADN 151? I may try to buy it before class. Again congrats everyone!!

Hi, I know Citrus College has a fairly new ADN program, and they accept only 24 students. Is there anyone currently in the program or have graduated from Citrus? How are the instructors? It seems like a nice place. I think it would be great to hear from a student's point of view. Also, are there any fall 2011 applicants out there??

pandacakes - I think they should've picked you as well because of your experience! Hope you made it too. They told me to continue calling them in the next couple of weeks because they may have another round, which I'm still a little confused on. wyu - It's at glendora. Pretty much any school that says YES to me, I'll gooo. lol. I really want to be a nurse in the future!

Citrus college so far but I a feel a little doubtful I agree with you on the cost of the accelerated! The plus side is that you finish within a year, but I'm not sure If I could learn in that kind of pace. lol. Did you apply to a lot of nursing programs? Was this your first time applying?

I don't want to take micro again! lol. I was considering doing the Accelerated BSN, but not so sure about the pacing of the program. Futurenurse: Don't give up, you never know there could be a turn around.

I called them a week ago and found out that I wasn't in any of the lists:( The lady was really nice and said to continue to wait until the first week of april because they might have a second round or something. I'm also applying to citrus college. wyu- may I ask about your application stats (gpa, certificates, work experience etc)? just would like to know for next time, so I can try to get as much points as I can. I thought that I would have a good chance because I have all the preq's done and graduating this year with a BA, but I really need to do more!

I hope so too!! I'm glad that they don't do lottery, but does that mean there are no waitlists/alternate lists? I always wondered how they choose candidates who have similar backgrounds, like grades and work experience. I have As & Bs for gen-eds, and I think a 3.6 in the sciences.

Hi! I also applied for the Fall '11 in Feb. Do you know if they use lottery to select students? I talked to one of the people there, and she said they go by point system.
