Published

been waiting for my results for about a month now and finally called up the BRN and told me that my results are pending due to fingerprint verification in DOJ. Anyone has any ideas bout this? did i pass or fail? what to do? what's the problem? ay help would be appreciated.

by the way, i took the nclex in california

thanks and goodluck.

Your paperwork did not go through yet..The DOJ is still processing your prints...After your prints clear then they will tell you if you passed or not..

is that the procedure? i thought verification of fingerprints occurs in your application only, and then issue you an eligibility to take test.

and the thing is.. would they bother to verify it even u failed the exam? what dyou think?

thanks

hmm...is it possible that your fingerprint at the pearson vue testing center is being examined? I might be wrong. Did you do livescan or manual?

I am also waiting for my results and it is just over two weeks....I am yet to call BRN.

This is purely a guess but could it be that fingerprint checks take a bit longer because the native country is not the US?

I live in California and 90% of my classmates fingerprints weren't of good enough quality for the DOJ to accept them and we had to be refingerprinted several times. However, our we were allowed to take the nclex. We just couldn't get the results or our license until our fingerprints passed through the DOJ.

so.. what's ur guess? did i pass? if u were the one working in BON or DOJ.. would you spend time to verify my fingerprint if i didn't pass?

maybe i did pass? that's why theyre doing this?

called up DOJ yesterday and they told me that there were no problem with my fingerprint and they forwarded it back to BON, called up BON and told me they will call DOJ and call me back today.. still waiting for that call...

i'll give update later today or tom.

Of course they will look into your fingerprints even if you don't pass because you will be elegible to retake NCLEX.

Seems like forever, but a little more patience on your part might be in order.

I found out I got my license about a week after my test by going to the BON website and searching my name.

Good News! finally, i recieved my exam resultS and I Passed!

after a month or so of waiting and its been paid off... and by the way! my twin sister also passed!

Congratulations!
