Mercy Medical Center Redding NEW GRAD

U.S.A. California

Hey all!

Just wondering if anyone else has applied to Mercy Medical in Redding for the New Grad Program. Or if anyone knows their hiring process?? I'm just really anxiously waiting to see if I get an interview...lol! Thanks!

Congrats on the marriage rinniethepooh! My wife and I are both going through the program together, we just finished all of our prerequisites at the local community college and are starting the nursing program at Simpson this coming Spring. We have both been accepted and are now just waiting for it to start. Then it's 2.5 years and we will be finished!! I had not heard of the simlab, sounds exciting. Redding is a pretty quiet town, traffic wise, even if you live near some of the "busier" roads it is not that bad. I'm glad you found a place already. If you guys like the outdoors you will love it up here.

Thanks Intrstngusername! We do like the outdoors, so we are pretty excited (we actually met while both working as whitewater rafting guides). Good luck in your program, I'm sure you both will do great! If you have the time, I highly recommend volunteering, getting involved in the student nurses association on campus if you have one (if not, you could start one!) and getting to know your professors. I think you'll find it makes your time in the program more enriching. Ok, enough unsolicited advice from me. Take care!

Thank you for the tips, Intrstngusername...that is an interesting user name, btw. I was wondering if any residents would like a house/apt-mate? I've never been to Redding and am planning on checking out the place in a few weeks.

hi guys, i was called for an interview for their spring 2017 new grad program as well, just wondering if i could ask you guys for any tips from your previous interview experience with them? if you don't mind sharing, what type of questions did they ask you? did they ask any behavioral type questions...those ones makes me nervous. thank you :)

Congrats. I'm happy for you. Good luck with your interview.

Hi all,

Also just wondering how the interview process is as I have an upcoming interview as well!

Received a call on 4/13 for an interview, program starting July 2017!! Interviews are being held 4/24-28.

For those who applied for the program starting July 2017. Did you fill out an online reference form?

Does anyone know how the interview itself is? How can I prepare for clinical scenarios?

How was the interview?
