When I saw that Torrence Memorial had closed their applications to their New Grad program starting in March 2011 I realized we needed a new grad 2011 thread! The 2010 thread was a great place to ask questions and get answers about upcoming new grad opportunities. So let's make this thread the same. :)

First off, When did you graduate?

That's not too old of a grad toin. :) Lots of grads out there with less than a year since they graduated.

Have you applied to any new grad positions that you are waiting to hear back from?

I just applies to scripps hospitals new grad position last week, palomar pomerado, and going to apply to ucla again...hoping to get Past the telephone interview this time for ucla:-/ how about you?

I have not heard from JFK, they are still in the process of taking applications I believe. I was able to apply just recently.

Is Palomar Pomerado still accepting applications? I wasn't able to find a new grad position under their list of available jobs. Thanks!

Well according to their website:

You should see New grad positions 1-2 months before they start their program (around July/August). So maybe you might try to check for new grad jobs around May or June

Provides and documents care to patients under the direction of the RN preceptor, to provide a safe, comfortable and confidential environment. Primary responsibilities will include champion/support for the technology and change implementation in the clinical areas.

A Nurse Resident II CNEX position is a mentored experience to facilitate transition from student to professional nurse. Skills to include delivery of coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients within an assigned unit and for the day to day management and supervision of the related clinical activities. I did receive the email on Wednesday and was hoping that I still had a shot for an interview. Were the ones you all received for Mon-Wed? Hoping they didn't send them all out yet!
