Medical Terminology @ Rio???

I was wondering if anybody has taken this class because I am interested in what the final is like??

I took medical terminology through Rio and found it was pretty easy. I really can't remember what the final was like, but I'm pretty sure I took it at home, if not at least the midterm was at home. Either way it was pretty easy, and I'm not in healthcare so it was all new terms for me.

Why are you taking this class? If you're going into nursing you may want to check with the new pre-req's, I thought they had dropped Medical Terminology. Mattsmom has a link to the new requirements under the thread about MCCD's new requirements.

Good luck in whatever you decide. I would definitely take it through Rio if you have to, it's a pretty easy class.

It has been a while since I took this class at Rio.

What I can tell you is that I do not remember the final. This is a good thing. I usually only remember the tests or courses that are a pain. I do know that I got an A.

You will do fine!

ONE WORD------------E A S Y

The final comes right off all of your weekly tests.. It was so easy.. It took me all of 13 minutes and I got almost %100 .. Do not worry about it!!! Study/ Memorize the weekly tests...

Also HCC 145 has now been bumped to a CO-req and not a pre-req.. As an AZ student, you may want to check out the new requirements :> ..GOOD LUCK,,,,

I took medical terminology at Rio and it was pretty easy. Mid term was at home and final you have to go the testing center.
