....and then the instructor said, "its A right answer, but it's not the MOST right answer."

"...the nurse said GoLytely, GOLYTELY! There was nothing light about it! It...just...wouldnt...stop!

So I misspelled a word - don't know what the big deal was... I documented "patient dead after wife visited" instead of "patient read after wife visited"...

I'm very concerned doctor, I am afraid I may be suffering from major depression. I don't sleep at night, I haven't showered for days, I no longer get A's, I put on weight, and my friends no longer ask to hangout!

You see Doctor, I have this recurring dream. I remember reading the answer in last nights chapter, so i raise my hand confidently to answer and then BAM They tell me that's not the "best answer".

Really? pain? What did he expect ME to do about it? I gave him breakfast, changed his gown, did his vitals, listened to his heart, lungs and stomach, made his bed and gave him a bath with a back massage....I can only do so much!

But no one ever told me that I was supposed to remove the foil before inserting...

Wait, my feet are up, it must be April fools day

Or Hell has frozen over!

I love my job, I love my job, I love my job.....it's not about you, it's about the patients!, I love my job, I love my job.....That is what I heard my instructor saying as she was grading my nurse notes.

They said to just memorize all the highlights, but the whole chapter is highlighted!

I'm changing an ostomy bag and get a call, on my mandatory cell phone, that my other patient pulled out his tracheostomy. While running in the room the infection control nurse says, "Stop put on your PPE. Don't you care about patient safety?" While replacing an emergent tracheostomy, my other patient calls because she is bleeding to death from her IV. Then I think I'm 20 and trusted with all this responsibility but still can't have a drink. Is this real life?

"I'm so proud of myself! I got to do trach care today! "

"Well good for you! Did you have any trouble connecting the trach back up? "
