I went to st peters in December, I researched it and couldn't find anything good about it. I did pass but out of 6, only 3 of us passed that day. I did consider changing sites but thought against it. I'm not sure of why you didn't succeed the first time, but please memorize your mnemonics, make full use of your grid, and most importantly, learn how to control your anxiety. Go over in your mind what happened the first time around. You've got this. Everyone is praying for you. Good luck to you.

Good luck!! I received my date today...June 22 in Albany. Was this site that bad? Im wondering if I should put in for a different site?!?!?

I failed at st peters last nov. (as did 5 of the 6 of us that went ther) i didn't love the site, but I'm thinking Now that i would have been familiar with the hospital. Oh well. It gave me more time to study. Albany med is too big for me, so I went with Utica. Thanks to all for ll your support

Good luck! I am hoping for Syracuse, Utica is too far a drive for me. I have a 4 hr drive to Syracuse and about the same to Albany. Not until summer though. You'll nail it this time for sure, a co worker of mine failed the first time due to care plans, did a workshop went back and passed. :) You can do it.

Albany Med is a huge hospital!!! I don't mind going to any other site, I figured I would go back there because I would be familiar and nothing would look new. I failed last time because my nerves made me make silly mistakes like not id-ing a pt before giving meds, not listening to baseline lung sounds before c&db and IS, and I failed my peds pcs because of documentation. I take total responsibility and I now know that I can't doubt myself and let stress and anxiety take over the intelligent nurse that I am, so I figured going back to the same site would help. I'm open to Utica and Syracuse tho, but I'm staying away from St petersburg lol hopefully I get to speak to someone today RE: date and site

KKelly, there r two sites in Albany, which one did u get? Albany Med or St Petersburg? Good luck, n don't be scared because of bad reviews of a particular site, just study and know ur stuff, and if u want to change sites that is totally ur decision. U r gonna do great regardless!!
