Lets start a fun thread that describes a nursing students way of life.
For examply always broke but gotta have those drug cards.
stuff like that
You know you are in nursing school when ....
your car looks like its lived in. :chuckle
Your friend comments that your car looks like a library.
Lunch consists of chewing gum and a bag of peanuts. :balloons:
You are always broke but find money for a NCLEX - RN study guide and hold off on buying a new pair of jeans. :rotfl:
-You consider yourself to be "Not really religious" but you listen to christian radio stations on test days..
-You consider a frozen waffle peanut butter and jelly sandwich (with a glass of milk) a balanced meal the night BEFORE the test day.....
-The only food in your house is frozen waffles, peanutbutter and jelly because you haven't had time to grocery shop in 3 weeks....
When you zone into a drug commercial while watching television and you wonder what the prescribed dose would be, how you would reconstitute and how many mL you would give. ITS SICK SICK SICK
YES! You also hang on every word said... therapeutic effects...contraindications... side effects ... dangerous adverse reactions, etc...knowing it will give you an advantage when memorizing this drug!
*you whip out your palm pilot to check to make sure the dosage, route, and side effects of antibiotics they gave your 3 year old is correct and then teach your three year old all about taking his meds.
*every person in wal mart is symptomatic of something, the woman with the nail clubbing who you start a conversation with just to see if you are correct.

- you only shave your legs on the days that you might have to practice skills on each other (especially TEDS).
- Drug guide, with every med taken by relatives
- I try to diagnose, just too shy to actually ask!
- I've just stopped bothering. I figure we've all seen scarier things than a furry female leg
