i do contract for 42 an hour.. it's 63 an hour for overtime (no benefits), and then they give me some differentials for weekends, etc.. on top of all that.
often i'm working 13 out of 14 nights in a pay period. it's not for the faint of heart, but i'm working on a lot of other projects and it's a way to get there. management knows i'm there to work, so no nonsense. i skip the employee meetings, etc. all you have to do is work nights and float whereever without complaining, and they'll start to rely on you to the point where you can work all you want.
