thought i'd post this here as well as off-topic, in hopes of getting more visibility......
hey y'all!!! my hubby and i are planning exotic vacation #5, and want to go to australia for a couple of weeks next year.
i know your seasons are reversed there, so what's the weather like in, oh, say july? is that like april in the states?
he and i loooooooooooove scuba/snorkeling, and it is my
fantasy to snorkel/scuba on the great barrier reef!!!
i know so little about your country other than the obvious 'touristy' stuff like sydney and the reef.....can you please educate a po' ignunt southern belle and make some suggestions as to where to go in your lovely country??
thanks!!!
As AUs nurse said - it will be nice and warm up the northern states - l guess l was just letting you know we are a big country with lots of different experinces, places to see and things to do and different weather except in the summer months where everywhere - pretty well is HOT
have a great time planning it.

Absolutely Joanne
Am going home tommorrow - to get my hair cut - you can take the girl out of Melbourne - but cant take the Melbourne out of the girl
I live 300 Ks away - Get to see the family too!!
Its got great class, food, scenary, cosmpolition atmosphere and thats just getting me started
Seroiusly folks - it is a great place - cold in our Winter - but we have the footy on now to make up for that
We in Australia are probably like all places throughout the world their home town/state is their favourite.
Keep planning that trip - we will keep telling you all the other places you can visit and why we all think its a great place - all of Australia - that is.

Don't forget Frazer Island the biggest sand island in the world( DON'T feed the dingoes!!) Or the Quokkas on ( I think) Rottnest island...... I'm not biased at all Australia is the best country in the world....I'm not biased.....Well maybe just a little..
