Yeah - I passed, I think!

I went on PearsonVue's website and did the quick results and it said I passed!!!!! But I went on the state's licensing website and my name is not on there yet? Does anyone in FL know how long it takes to get on there? I thought you would see that first!

I don't live in Florida, but I had the same experience. You passed. What happened to me is that I took the exam on a Saturday (June 3, 2006) and was told that I should call or check the web site in 72 hours rather that 48 because I took it on the weekend. On Monday, the 6th, I checked the phone number because I wanted to test it in preparation for Wednesday, especially since my authorization number had a letter and numbers. Plus, I was told that I would not be charged with a fee if the results were not there, so, I figured what was there to lose?? I called, it said that I passed. I called 4 times, because I thought that the numbers applied to someone else since I called too early (2 days early). The following morning (Tuesday), I called Pearson; told them what I did, and they told me that it was the correct information...it was MY score and no one else's. Just to be SURE (because I still thought that the Universe was playing games with me, I checked the registry, and did not see my name, either. But then, Wednesday, someone called and told me that they saw that I passed because they saw my name on the registery two hours after I last checked. They seem to post all day long. You Passed, You PASSED, You PASSED. Stand and deliver...you ARE a nurse!!

In Florida (where I took the NCLEX last year) - you see your Pass/Fail results on the Pearson site first - takes a few days longer for your license number to appear on the FL BON site. Congratulations - you passed - now for the hard part.....

Thanks everyone! I was just unsure because I have heard of people being told they failed when they actually passed by Pearson Vue - so you never know!

It's just weird because almost everyone that took it here in FL found out that they passed via the DOH website and not Pearson Vue w/in 48 hours. Oh well, I'll keep checking - I want to get rid of the "GN" badge at work tommorrow!

Congratulations!
