Many tears of joy were shed yesterday when I got the e-mail I've been waiting so long for... Acceptance into my #1 choice BSN program!

The past two years of being a single parent and a full-time student has been well worth the hurdles. I am now one step closer to my dream of becoming a nurse! I am still in shock but am absolutely honored to have been chosen on my first try. I hear about so many well-qualified students who are turned away from nursing school year after year. My heart truly goes out to those of you in that situation.

Thank you for taking the time to read my post. Congratulations to those of you who have also been accepted, and I wish the best of luck to everyone still waiting in anticipation for their acceptance letters!?

That is fantastic! Best of luck to you!

They do, and many of them early on. If you're #1 on the wait list, you'll be fine. :)

And, congrats again on getting your new job. The job market for new grads in our area is so tough; you must be a hell of a nurse! :)
