I just accepted a job yesterday for a non-agency private duty nurse position. It is part time, but I couldn't be happier! Plus, I love the case manager. I've worked with her for a few years on the same case while I was a non-agency personal care aide. In fact, it was the case manager that recommended my name to the client's family. It's great to be able to network.

I also received an offer from the mental health therapeutic community that I currently work at to join their nursing staff as a PT/PRN position. That works out perfectly! This job is so close to home and they are very willing to accommodate my schedule.

Things are finally starting to fall in place :yeah:. I am so very grateful for these opportunities.

Thank you everyone. I love the support of this website, it has really helped me not only through nursing school, but in preparing for the NCLEX as well as searching for employment. I am sure I will continue to utilize this nursing forum for further insight as I learn the ropes as a new nurse! :nurse:
