Hello,
I don't think there is a thread for Yale GEPN applicants for Fall 2025 start, so here it is! Let's share knowledge and cheer each other on⭐! Also, if there is an existing thread, please let me know.
I want to submit my application soon, but I keep re-reading and editing my essays... Anyone else doing the same thing? I have been out of school for almost 10 years, and I'm getting flashbacks to high school/undergrad days!
Additionally, has anyone sent a transcript via Parchment? My transcript should have been received by Oct 21, but on NursingCAS, it says it hasn't received.
Thanks, and I look forward to communicating with you all!

Yale says that it does not mean you've been accepted. I think it's one thing to meet the cut off that the scholarship donor/admissions in general set, and another thing to be accepted into your specific program. I think most grad programs have some level of faculty involvement in admissions? IDK though
Hi everyone! I just found this thread. I submitted my application for GEPN-midwifery program on 10/31. I also got the community scholars invitation on the 11th and due the 16th (one week to work on that application with full time work schedule was 😨 but I made it!). I am sooo beyond nervous and honestly just can't wait to hear back from them already. I was looking at last year's forum and it seems they got their decisions on 12/22, the Friday before Christmas. MY premonition is that we'll find out by 12/20 this year, but that could just be me being crazy 🙃 good luck everyone!
My dumb self didn't realize I needed a transcript evaluation (for my semester of study abroad during undergrad) until the day before the application was due, and so I paid for rush processing but alas, YSN told me I'm being considered under the rolling admissions deadline because even though my part of the application was complete and submitted, they hadn't received the transcript evaluation by 11/1. Feeling pretty stupid since I can no longer apply for community scholars and it seems like the chances of getting in from rolling admissions is a lot lower 😞 Just a word of caution to future applicants.

Oh how exciting! I have my calendar marked for 12/20 now haha. Hopefully we all hear back then!

I am so sorry... don't feel stupid at all, transcripts are such a nightmare... I looked into older threads, and it seems like people applied in January and got accepted in Feb and on! I think you still have good chance of acceptance!

I thought the same thing!! I don't remember where I read this but somewhere I read that "Yale likes Wednesdays" and usually send out their admissions decisions on a Wednesday so I thought... maybe we'll hear by 12/18?!?!?
Everyday I check my email thinking... maybe they'll just send out admissions decisions early this year. I'm so tired of waiting for a decision, I feel like I've been waiting forever.

I hope you're right 😁 two days earlier than my prediction is definitely desirable. Believe me, I understand. I'm losing my MIND waiting for this. It is my top choice and I can't wait.
