Hello, 

I don't think there is a thread for Yale GEPN applicants for Fall 2025 start, so here it is! Let's share knowledge and cheer each other on⭐! Also, if there is an existing thread, please let me know.

I want to submit my application soon, but I keep re-reading and editing my essays... Anyone else doing the same thing? I have been out of school for almost 10 years, and I'm getting flashbacks to high school/undergrad days!

Additionally, has anyone sent a transcript via Parchment? My transcript should have been received by Oct 21, but on NursingCAS, it says it hasn't received.

I'm not a GEPN applicant but submitted a RN-MSN application for the WHNP 2025 fall program. I did use parchment for one of my transcripts, it took them a while to be verified unlike the National clearinghouse which was much quicker. So all my transcripts has been received by Nursingcas.

Hi, I'm an RN-MSN applicant for CNM! I did Parchment for both of my transcripts. One was really fast, and the other took about 8-10 days. 

I finished writing my app in August since I am currently in nursing school and have an intense job at my local hospital. I knew I couldn't manage working on my application on top of everything else. I had to just force myself to call it done and leave it alone!

Wow, WHNP and CNM! I just had my baby last December, and I have so much respect for women's health providers. I'm personally applying for PACNP, very excited.

And about transcript: I see, I will follow up with the admissions team and see if they received it. I don't know if it has to be verified by Nov 1st to be considered for scholarship.

Congrats on your little one! I believe the application needs to be complete, not necessarily verified by the deadline. Fingers crossed that they'll receive it soon!

I'm applying to GEPN-CNM/WHNP and I've also been out of school for almost 10 years! I'm finding the character limits to be extremely limiting. I'm also applying to OHSU and they allowed for a LOT more writing space...
