WV vs PA licensure, anyone have any experience?

Hello,

I am a student in an accelerated BSN program in Western PA, scheduled to graduate in December. I am a resident of WV and currently work at a hospital in WV where I will stay once I become an RN. My school's director told me that she only helps students with their PA licensure paperwork and that if I wish to test in WV, she will not help me, just to bring her the forms I need signed whenever I figure them out. I really don't see the point in testing in PA then paying more money to transfer my license to WV. Is applying to sit in WV really that much more difficult than other states?

Anyone with experience in this kind of thing, please share. I am already stressed about this since my director has basically said I am on my own. Thanks in advance!
