I am not sure what that means. Wish I could help. What did you get on the TEAS? Did you just need to pass or does your score take into consideration if you get in or not? My score does count. I have to do really good to get into Cal State. There was about 45 people taking the exam today, and they only accept 33 students. YIKES! I will not know my score until Monday, but I will keep you all posted.

I am pretty sure it means that you scored in the 38th percentile for your program ,so about 62 percent of the people who applied to the same program as you scored higher.
a friend of mine took the teas as well and she score an 89% which she said is in the 98%, and her program rank was 7, she thinks that - that means 6 people scored better than her in our program at our school.
i scored a 72%.. and my program rank is 38.
this is what my paper says:
Adjusted individual total score: 72%
mean-national: 72.8
mean-program: 74%
percentile rank-national: 43
percentile rank-program: 38
i'm sooo confused!!!!
(hardly ne one in our school score better than 92% on the teas)

But I'm still confused, it says it refers to the portion of test takers from my specific type of nursing program whose scores are the same as or lower than your adjusted individual score. plz explain it to me.

That's the percentage of takers of the test from the same kind of program you took it for who scored the same or lower than what you scored. Higher is better. It means that you scored the same or higher than that percentage of people who took the test who are applying for the same type of program.
adjusted individual total score: 72% this is your over all score on the test
mean-national: 72.8 this is the average score of all test takers in the country
mean-program: 74% this is the average score for takers of the test from programs similar to yours.
percentile rank-national: 43 this is the percentage of people nationally in all types of programs who took the test who did the same or worse than you did
percentile rank-program: 38 this is the percentage of people in programs similar to yours who scored the same or worse than you did
^ what was your adjusted individual score?
Mine?
Lhayee's was 72
