Hello everyone,
Just wondering if anyone on here applied for BSN program for Fall 2018?
And if you don't mind sharing your GPAs, TEAS score, volunteer/ work experience, etc.
About me:
-Transfer student
- Over GPAs: 3.5
- Prereqs GPA: 3.7
- TEAS: Advanced
- Volunteer: 550+ hours (ER)
- Work experience: 330 hours (as CNA in nursing home)
Thank you!
Derek
I'm sorry I hope you are not too discouraged. I was rejected to the other nursing school I applied to because my essay didn't fit with what they wanted. Granted, they didn't have a rubric so I went at it as best as I could. Even good grades/test scores don't always mean getting in. I wish you the best â¤ï¸
Hello, I had my invitation on March 13th and my interview was on the 30th.
@ptntcrgvr, @stephaniek1: I hope you two don't lose hope. This is my first time applying and my interview did not go so well. Some of the students applied 3 or more times! They fixed their GPAs, added CNA experience, or completed a Bachelor and then apply again. Please please don't be too discouraged and I wish you all the best!
My questions were in about 15 minutes with 2 instructors in Yakima campus.
1- First quarter of nursing school will be heavy (17 credits), how will you manage that?
2- What are personalities and characteristics of a good nurse?
3- What makes you the best candidate for this program?
4- I do not remember this one...
5- Do you have any questions for us?
