see, i told you not to worry about it.

where about are you from????? i know a bit of the area near houston and i'm considering all areas near there.

thanks for the kind words :) im just glad its all over :)

Specializes in Critical Care.

I live in the Bryan/College Station area. ~70 miles N. and slightly W of Houston.

1.5 hrs from Houston/Austin; 3 hrs from San Anton/Dallas.

Great Schools. Competitive hospitals. 1 hospital keeps a reasonable 5-6 med/surg ratio. Decent pay.

My 1300 sf 3 bedroom house on a cul de sac in a quiet neighborhood across from a park: 97k.

120,000 local pop, but spread out. So, 24 hr stores if you like, but not a 'city' feel. Close enough to the cities to go for day trips.

Major University (TX A&M) for followup schooling. They have a satellite BSN/MSN program. I moved here for school, and loved the area, so stayed.

College Station has a great school system for kids.

There are downsides to everywhere: It is unbearably hot and humid for about a 1.5 months each year; but that's Texas. And, there are higher levels of allergens in the air around here than practically anywhere else. Again, this area of the country. And, when the University is in session, there are lots of college 'kids' on the roads (but that isn't nearly as bad as driving in city 'rush hour')

PM me if you want more info.

just out of curiousity- i'm in mn and i took the boards here in mn, the day after, i checked the mn bon and it said exam results: passed. that means i passed, right? i mean i am so stoked over this all but i don't want to get all pumped up only to find out that "passed" means the test was administered.

is that what yours said? it doesn't give me any liscence number or anything yet, and i suppose that will come, and pearson's says my results aren't available yet:trout: so... yeah.

thats what mine said then today i looked at he site and i now have a license number :) wahooooooooo i'm a nurse lol

Congrats!!!!!!! I took mine last Wed. I didn't find out anything from Pearson either (my state, Pa, doesn't participate in Quick Results)

Anyone know how I can found out my results????????

i had so much confidence in myself before i took the nclex this morning, and it really throw my confidence down down down. i thought if i don't pass with 75, i should be able to pass by 100, but after 100 questions it's still going. i got like 110 questions. i am so scared now, also scared to find out the result, i guess i will not pay that $8, what if the result is not what i want to see. i will wait and check on my bon. if pearson says result available and my bon didn't show my name under that category, i will know that i failed.

during my exam i was hoping that i would pass with 75 but that number came and went and all i keep saying was crap crap crap ........ until i thought that hey that means i haven't totally bombed it yet. sooooooooo on went the questions and man can i say by 175 i had to read questions over and over again cause i just couldn't concentrate on the bloody words :(. when the test finished i got up and honestly thought i had failed i couldn't even have a conversation with out mixing up my words thats how brain dead i was.

i hope you pass at 75 but if the test keeps going don't sweat it :) i wish you good luck let us know when you have passed :)

i'm sorry to hear that your confidence is down. nclex is just a test its not real world nursing is perfect world stuff, don't let it bother you that much. you don't know if you failed or passed yet right? i know when i finished mine i was kind of bummed but at the same time you have to think that if you retake it at least you know what they are looking for and you'll be able to pass the second time (not that i think that makes you feel any better)

how long will it take you to find out your marks? if its affecting you that much why not just find out if you passed or failed that way you can put yourself out of the horrible place you find yourself in right now.
