Good morning everyone!!!

I am in need of HELP!

I was asked, "What are the standards of Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Care for nurses?" I looked on a few websites, one which was provided from the assignment- Wound Ostomy Continence Nursing Certified Board. It seems as though these websites are merely trying to sell a certification program. There was no mention of nursing standards. Does anyone have any onsite on this topic??

The knowledge base for Wound Care certification is composed of the nursing standards for their specialty. Just like NCLEX is based on generalist nursing standards, their certification test reflects Wound Care standards. It's the same for all nursing specialty certifications.
