Would folks in RN-BSN programs care to share their costs?

Published

I am wondering if some people wouldn't mind listing the program they are attending and the approx cost per semester hour.

I am looking for other options and a school by school internet search is proving slow!!!

Here's a PDF of the spreadsheet I made -- it has links to the websites, costs, random comments, and accreditation. Good luck!

Wow! Miss LunahRN you did your research!!!!!!! but you didn't mention the state schools girl!! State schools are way least expensive.

I am paying $109/credit hour at my state school.

OT NURSE you could have gone to SPC for 80 a credit if you live in floirda. I think 22, 000 is way to much. I think you can get your bachelors at spc for like 6, ooo or so

I agree, $22K for the RN-BSN program is way too much.

Right now, I am going to FIU RN-BSN program online, and for $109 per credit, plus fees (what school doesn't have special fees).

So I am taking 6 credits this term.

I was almost going to go to St. Petersburg College, because of the price too.... but I figured FIU would be best and it is helpful that it is only a 15 min. drive from my house! so it was convenient going there to get my books and my library card!!

I did list a state school for my state. I can't cover all 50 states -- that spreadsheet would be hundreds of pages. This was personal research that I thought I'd share; I didn't create this for everyone.

Specializes in Gastroenterology; and Primary Care.

I am doing Excelsior's BSN program...total cost for me: $7955.

Of course they accepted all my ASN credits as I graduated from them!

:yeah:

Specializes in ER and family advanced nursing practice.

Graceland University:

Undergraduate level courses: $385 per semester hour

Graduate level courses: $485 per semester hour

General Education Courses: $310** per semester hour

On the low side of expensive, but compares with out of state tuition rates so I am ok with it. Don't won't to know my total just now. That would ruin a perfectly good national economic crisis/meltdown....
