Would you assist in abortions?

A show like that would be a good thing to see, so long as it wasn't leaning one way or the other and stayed unbiased, but presented the facts of why it's done and how it's done.

This makes my blood boil......

Nurses in one breath saying the term mother and the next having a Choice to basically SNUFF out one of their children.......

I did work in a normal clinic in MT years ago, that offered the service.....it was a family practice clinic.....

The MD's there were very complete with the procedure...had them go to outside counciling before the procedure as well as see a licensed,masters social worker that they had hired for inhouse....anyway they also used the laminaria method to swell the cervix overnight...had their blood checked for Rh and got Rho-gam when necessary....had lab work-ups before and after....had follow-up visits...kept the price down...you got the picture..

I was not an RN at the time....but it did not take me long to realize.....when taking "good old products of conception" to the lab....that under that lab slip in the baggie, was a very small human that had just been ripped to shreds...

Nothing like seeing a small foot with a leg attached to help one decide it was an actual small BABY......

SO....now when I moved and applied for a job...I put down that I would not help with abortion procedures at all....and got the job....

AND yes....it is very hard topic...but the choice is always the same at the end...dead baby.....We have to protect the innocent....

OK one more thing....I would support legislation that would give the rights for someone who was raped or for the sake of the mother type thing...tubal pregnancy....etc. BUT only because that would almost eliminate ALL the other ABs.....

No, I would not, because of my own beliefs and feelings. This is one question I always answered no on any applications. But I do not ever attempt to tell another person what to do, they have to answer for, and deal with their own actions, just as I have to answer for mine.

While I agree that the "product of conception" is truly a little person -- I am afraid that banning all abortions with the exception of rape/incest/life threatening for mom-- won't actually "almost eliminate all other ABs". There are too many who would end up at "shady clinics" or back rooms -- they won't stop just because we tell them they can't do it anymore. It is seen as a person's right.. and people will fight for their "Rights" they will feel "entitled to" their choices regardless fo what laws are written.

Until the little person is seen as a little person, who has great potential and worth, we will not see the practice end. That will require more than an act of congress-- it will take an act of God. I don't agree with abortion, but I am not going to make someonelse choose MY WAY -- God can deal with hearts -- I am just here to help take care of their bodies and spirits... regardless of the choice they make.

If you substitute murder of an adult for abortion do you then just let God deal with their hearts?

No, I am pro-life. The only time I would even think of it, would be if mother's life was endanger.

I would not assist with an abortion. I believe that an unborn child is a human being. Women do have a choice. They can choose to not have sex, or they can choose to use birth control.

i choose to remove myself as i do not judge those who choose against my personal beliefs . be aured god will judge their hearts and their actions

I know the medical field does not support the idea of a soul, so I will not argue from that point. An unborn child is still a child. The moment of conception marks life. You are killing a life, but you do have a choice, and you will live with that choice forever.

Well said KM,there is no doubt about it you can dress it up with medical jargon but at the end ofthe day it is murder.I was working in Gyn. theatre as part of my Dip. course and would often look at the doc. and wonder how he/she rationalised what he/she were doing.I felt sad for them.

No. I don't believe a person can kill children all day without slowly kill their own mind, heart, and soul.
