  1. I worked for 13 years in ER and relief in ICU. I am an LVN, we had a choice to get certified in ACLS, PALS, and Advanced Tramua, if we did so we were paid more, and could assist with more procedures. So, it was our choice, and some of the nurses decided not to do this, so they could not fuss if I was paid more, I worked for it.:)
  2. I do not beleive in assisting anyone take their own life, but I do feel that if a person has wishes that all help be withheld if they are terminally ill, then this wish sholud be hononed. Like IV fluild, feeding tubes, etc. These are my wishes, and all of my children know this. My son is a paramatic, and is power of attorny over my health decisions, just in case I an ever in a wreck or such, and they code me at the scene. I worked for 13 years in ER and was ICU relief, and in a rehab hospital for 4 years. So I have seen the damnage and sorrow that prolonging one's life can cause. There were a lot of people in the rehab that the family just would not let go, and they were all suffering greatly. So everyone should make their wishes known, and do the proper paperwork to follow, so they will be carried out.:)
  3. No, I would not, because of my own beliefs and feelings. This is one question I always answered no on any applications. But I do not ever attempt to tell another person what to do, they have to answer for, and deal with their own actions, just as I have to answer for mine.
  4. Just tell him that the count has to be correct, or he does not get the keys. Like someone else said, maybe he is a drug addict and wants to hide something. I also worked for six years in a correctional facality. Take care.:chuckle
